Erasmus+ mobility for adult learners in Tenerife
Course description:
Do you want to send your adult learners abroad?
We can organise an Erasmus+ mobility programme for your adult learners in the Adult Education sector, with practical, participatory and inclusive activities in Tenerife.
The programme will depend on the type of Erasmus+ mobility. Individual mobility of adult learners can be more specifically designed around the learning objectives, profile and needs of each participant. Group mobility of adult learners is usually lighter and may include more collective activities, self-paced learning tasks, informal learning opportunities and the use of existing local resources.
The main aim is to create a welcoming learning experience where participants can explore new places, interact with others, gain confidence and reflect on topics such as culture, inclusion, communication, sustainability and active participation.
This mobility is for organisations that want to offer their adult learners a meaningful learning experience abroad, with activities adapted to their profile, confidence level, language skills and learning needs.

Objectives:
By the end of the mobility, participants may:
- increase their confidence in taking part in international learning activities
- improve cooperation and communication with others
- experience outdoor and game-based learning methods
- develop curiosity about local heritage and European diversity
- discover new cultural and natural environments
- strengthen their sense of participation and belonging
- reflect on their own learning process
- gain motivation to continue learning after the mobility

Adaptation to the group:
The programme can be adapted for different types of adult learners, including seniors, parents, learners with fewer opportunities, people with different language levels or participants with specific support needs.
Activities can be made more active, reflective, creative, digital, outdoor-based or intercultural depending on the group.
For groups with reduced mobility or other accessibility needs, the programme should be discussed in advance so that activities, locations and rhythm can be adapted as much as possible.
Methodology:
The methodology is based on active and non-formal learning. Participants learn through experience, observation, movement, games, reflection and interaction with the local environment.
Activities may include cooperative games, simple group challenges, outdoor tasks, treasure hunts, non-verbal methods, storytelling, local visits, digital learning activities and reflection moments.
The programme avoids long lectures and focuses instead on participation, discovery and practical learning. The pace can be adapted to the needs of the group, including participants with different language levels, mobility needs or learning backgrounds.

Practical information
This draft mobility programme is planned for KA1 Mobility for learners in the Adult Education sector.
As a non-profit organisation, Tenerife Courses can host adult learner mobilities and job-shadowing activities in the Adult Education sector. For School Education and VET, the hosting organisation should normally be a school or, in the case of internships, a company.
The final programme is prepared after discussing the needs, profile and learning objectives of the sending organisation and participants.
