Consortium of local organisations

TENERIFE COURSES is a consortium of various NGOs and educational professionals that offer innovative and high quality ERASMUS+ Staff Mobility training courses specially designed to meet the needs of teachers and staff from educational centers from Europe. Through our courses, school teaching and non-teaching staff can benefit from professional development abroad, boost in motivation and new inspirational ideas. Their learners will then benefit from new and improved teaching practices. We value human connections and our approach is personal and semiformal.

We provide the participants with a set of practical exercises, experiments, case studies, games and role plays that they can adapt to a wide variety of topics. In our courses, we emphasize the use active learning methods in order to enable the teachers to start using the new skills immediately in their work and increase the motivation of students.

EduPlus

Eduplus is a non-profit organization created to support the consortium of organizations Tenerife Courses. It promotes the transformation and improvement of society through education, culture, ecology and citizen participation. The association facilitates the collaboration between education professionals and other professionals in order to develop and promote active teaching methodologies and innovative tools for formal, non-formal and informal education.

Desaplatánate is a non-profit association aimed at promoting the development of an alternative, social and sustainable tourism and leisure model in the Canary Islands.

They want to improve the options for the local population, distribute the benefits of tourism more efficiently and guarantee full respect for nature and the cultural values of the Canarian people.

La Tribu Teatro

LA TRIBU ESPACIO CREATIVO is a non-profit organization from Tenerife that promotes theater, therapeutic theater and art in general. It counts with an alternative theater space (La Nave de la Tribu) with a stage and creative dress room, where we usually organize the drama-related courses.

La Libelula Permaculture Garden

La Libelula Permaculture Ecology and Sustainability is a project that started in 2013 with 15.000 hectares of land in El Sauzal. It focuses on creating, implementing and  teaching permaculture systems (eco-sustainable Systems), agro-ecological, holistic management and care of the environment. In order to be self-sufficient, the project sells organic vegetables raised in the experimental garden, primarily in form of food boxes for consumption groups . However, the project goes beyond growing and selling vegetables, it focuses on soil and ecosystems regeneration and promoting sustainable lifestyles.

La Punta Bajamar Avanzando

LA PUNTA BAJAMAR AVANZANDO is a non-profit socio-cultural organization from Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. AVANZANDO promotes active citizenship, critical thinking and social implication of citizens in the cultural and social life of the local community. Through a participatory approach, the neighbors are empowered to collaborate and exchange knowledge, skills and experiences. AVANZANDO organizes educational activities on topics such as migrations and multiculturalism, tolerance and diversity, sustainable development, recycling and upcycling, healthy lifestyles etc.

STAFF MOBILITIES IN TENERIFE

Tenerife Courses consortium hosts Erasmus+ teaching staff mobilities for teachers, trainers and adult educators all over Europe. We organize Erasmus+ KA1 training courses and job-shadowing visits for teachers in collaboration with local organizations and trainers.
