Quality standards for courses under Key Action 1

As Eduplus Tenerife Courses we follow the quality standards established for courses involving Key Action and individual learning mobility.

We ensure that participants receive thorough information about our courses before they register. This includes details about the course provider’s background, trainers, targeted participants and entry requirements, course content, methods, objectives, teaching approach, and expected outcomes. Additionally, participants are informed about dates, duration, location, and schedule of the course. We also provide participants with timely details about necessary preparations for the course. Usually no equipment or materials are needed, but we do inform about the necessary clothes, shoes, hats etc when we do outdoor activities.

Our application and selection process is transparent, easily accessible, and straightforward. As we publish our available courses on the website, we allow interested individuals to apply.

We present all participation fees transparently to participants before registration, along with an itemized breakdown of the services covered by these fees. We also notify participants about any additional, optional services that are available at an extra cost such as possible common lunches or local private transportation, when, for example, we do outdoor educational activities in Teide National Park and no public transportation is available. All terms and conditions are provided in writing, outlining the procedure for cancelation and reimbursement in case unforeseen circumstances beyond both participants’ and our control arise.

Moreover, if any modifications are made to fees, content, dates, location, or schedule, participants have the flexibility to cancel their participation without incurring any extra expenses. If the participants cancel after paying the course fee, we give the possibility to attend to a similar course in the future.

We ensure that our teaching methods are of high quality, tailored to the participants’ learning needs and levels of expertise. Our courses integrate theoretical concepts with practical applications and incorporate methods for continuous monitoring, assessment, and evaluation.

Our courses are designed to inspire interactive learning experiences, fostering introspection, productive conversations and the exchange of knowledge among participants. Our trainers provide a supportive and constructive learning environment by means of ice-breakers and group activities.

Our course content is grounded in recent research and field practices. We do not use conventional methods of teaching, but rather than non-formal education methods, experiential learning, game-based methodology etc. During the courses we dedicate time to discuss in groups the applicability and relevance of course content within participants’ specific contexts.

Furthermore, we encourage a diverse group composition and offer networking opportunities, allowing participants to connect with peers from various countries, share experiences, and establish potential collaborations. In general, at our courses we have participants from minimum 2-3 countries and sometimes from up to 8-9 different nationalities.

Throughout the course, we promptly and effectively address participants’ inquiries. Our qualified instructors are experienced in multicultural teaching settings and possess up-to-date expertise in the course subject matter.

We are committed to providing inclusive services, ensuring equal access for all participants, including those with special needs. We have already had former participants in wheel chair, a group of participants with multiple sclerosis and other special needs.

The participants are given the chance to provide feedback on their course experience both verbally as well as through anonymous evaluations. Any complaints are handled fairly and constructively, as we use the feedback received to continuously improve our sessions. We guide participants on next steps after the course and provide materials to help them apply their acquired knowledge.

The participants receive certificates that detail their participation, course description, outcomes, dates, venues, and providers.

Lastly, courses offered by Eduplus Association and Tenerife Courses consortium align with European values and policies endorsed by the Erasmus+ program, reflecting the principles of the EU.

By adhering to these guidelines, our aim is to deliver courses of the highest quality, ensuring an exceptional learning experience for all participants.
